Artist Statement: Jantar Mantar in India is one of the world's oldest astronomical sites. This piece recalls the study of astronomy in creating cultural landscape and is part of my "Cosmic Gardens" series.

Materials & Techniques: Dyeing, machine piecing and quilting; silk hand-dyed with natural dyes: Indigo, Madder, Cochineal, Logwood, Osage, Weld, Cutch and Iron
