Artist Statement: I was inspired by the subtle variations in the two main hand dyed fabrics combined in this piece to represent the interplay of light and shade created at the intersection of sunlight and water.

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed fabrics purchased from CQA, Madeira embroidery thread.
