Artist Statement: On a recent visit to Southern Arizona I was amazed at the depth of color in the landscape. While we usually associate desolate landscapes with the desert, if one just takes the time to look closely you can see that is far from the truth..

Materials & Techniques: Vintage tablecloths and cottons hand-dyed by artist. Machine pieced and quilted. Completed in 2011.

Dimensions: 23.5"W x 35"H
