Artist Statement: Rest in Red III is part of a series using my shibori dyed fabric.It is an abstraction of a sunset, a moment of rest at the end of the day.

Materials & Techniques: This work was polewrapped, dyed, and discharged, painted and machine quilted with cotton and rayon threads.
