Artist Bio: Bachelor of Science degree focused on Literature, Spanish, and Computer Science.  I've always been drawn to be creative. It was after tragedy that my creative efforts turned to quilting, however. I lost my first child and found my well of creativity had run dry in my grieving. Shortly after this, I found comfort and a separate safe outlet for my creativity through quilting. In recent years, I have returned to drawing and painting, particularly as a means to enhance my quilts. I am now increasingly using much of my own hand-dyed, painted, stenciled, silk-screened, and printed fabrics and also enjoy incorporating digital images, particularly my own photographs, printed on fabric in my pieces.
