Artist Statement: #5 in my Full Moon series. My intention is to experiment with color combinations and surface design techniques, incorporating more hand dyed and hand painted fabrics into my work. Playing with Van Gogh's Starry Night skyline.

Materials & Techniques: Radiance (silk/cotton blend) is used for the background fabric. This piece contains ice dyed and marbeled fabrics made by the artist as well as commercial fabric. Each tile is individually handcut from fused fabrics, then machine stitched onto Radiance.
