Artist Statement: "One Day, One Step, One Life" grew out of my life experience in moving forward after a significant personal loss. Saying this when I started each day guided me forward to recovery and a better, brighter future.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial Cotton Ombre fabrics, machine applique, machine quilting. I used an app to modify a photo that I had taken of a sign made of hand cut block letters.
