Artist Statement: Most of my first tile quilts were based off landscape photos. As I venture into my Full Moon series my intention is to experiment with color combinations and surface design techniques, incorporating more hand dyed and hand painted fabrics into my work.

Materials & Techniques: Radiance (silk/cotton blend) is used for the background fabric. This piece contains ice dyed and marbeled fabrics made by the artist as well as commercial fabric. Each tile is individually handcut from fused fabrics, then machine stitched onto the Radiance.
