Artist Statement: Forms in nature repeat themselves and fill a space, respecting no boundaries with their abundance and exuberance. This proliferation has long delighted me and I've tried to capture something of that wild spirit, first in line and pastel drawings, later in fabric constructions, where shapes refuse to stay within straight stitched lines. 

Materials & Techniques: Materials consist of cotton printed from the artist's digitally altered photo, hand-dyed and commercial cottons, silk, and wool felt. Pieced, dimensionally appliqued, machine quilted.
