Artist Statement: This piece is an exploration of place using a single block pattern expressed in many iterations.  I think the outcome makes me think of a city with a river running through it- much like the city I live in.

Materials & Techniques: Dupioni silk, kimono silk, ultrasuede, beads, silk thread, pearl cotton thread.
