Artist Statement: Beauty can be found in an old stained wall, a crack in the road, a fallen down building. We also build facades to hide our true selves. What loveliness is found when they crumble away.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and discharged fabric, reverse applique, applique, machine stitched and quilted, wool batting, cotton and polyester thread
