Artist Statement: This was inspired by an image of a very quilt-like stained glass Bauhaus piece.  I gave it deeper, brighter colors but maintained its geometric feel.  The saturated colors contrast with the blacks and whites, and the diagonal stitching sets off the primarily horizontal stripes.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton sateen hand-dyed by the artist.  machine pieced and quilted.
