Artist Statement: I awoke early one February morning to sun shining through icy fog; the memory of that morning stayed with me and inspired this quilt. In my work I do not try to replicate a scene, rather to capture the memory of its light.

Materials & Techniques: The quilt is made of cotton batik and hand-dyed fabrics (fabrics dyed by Judy Robertson and me), raw-edge fusible appliqué, and tulle. Cotton batting and backing.

Dimensions: 23.5"W x 16.25"H
