Artist Statement: I love the process of rust dying, each piece is a surprise. Like the floors and walkways I walked on in Spain and Italy.

Materials & Techniques: This piece uses rust dyed fabric I made last year, vintage kimono silk, copper sheeting, and copper wire mesh. Traditional patchwork techniques were used to machine piece the quilt. It was machine quilted on my DSM.
