Artist Statement: I love it that the birds are so eager to greet the dawn. I suppose they are happy because the bugs will be stirring. But I prefer to think that they are joyful for a new day.

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed and commercial cottons, ultra suede, acrylic paint.cotton threads. Machine applique, painting, free motion quilting.
