Artist Statement: I am painter who has always loved fabric, and making Art Quilts allows me to combine textiles with drawing, painting, and collage. As a child I was often dressed in scratchy organdy and crinolines, and soft flannel and corduroy for play -  but my plan was to replicate the wardrobe of Teen Time paper dolls (circa 1961).

Materials & Techniques:  A digital print on fabric of an encaustic collage (pigmented beeswax, paper, tissue, clothing patterns); quilted and embellished with applique, thread, ribbon, and lace.
