Artist Statement: The colors and textures of Yellowstone Park in the USA range from vibrant to subtle.  In this piece I was trying to capture the more subdued hues.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and discharged wholecloth cotton fabric, appliqued with heat altered and painted polyester fibers. Machine quilted with wool batting.  Cotton and polyester thread.  Acrylic paints.
