Artist Statement: This is a continuation of my series on portals which represent to me the opening of new worlds while travelling. Closed doors, darkened doorways and open gateways entice me into new adventures.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and commercial cotton fabric, felt pen, fabric paint; piecing, raw edge applique, quilting.
