Artist Statement: My thoughts when working on this piece were memories of sitting with friends sipping coffee on a soft summer morning, sharing confidences and a little gossip. Bees buzzing and birds singing above. What a glorious feeling even now!

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed and commercial cotton fabrics, organza, silk. Pearl cotton and a variety of embroidery threads. Domestic machine and hand stitching.
