Artist Statement: Light plays over pond ripples, while leaves cast shadows on the blue-green water.

Materials & Techniques: Based on personal photo of pond at Cleland Wildlife Park in South Australia.  Hand-painted silk crepe background; hand-dyed and marbled cottons, commercial cottons. Raw-edged machine appliquéd. Machine quilted with cotton, rayon and metallic threads
