Artist Statement: By learning to include the darker experiences in our lives, the true self can be revealed. The old alchemical systems called it the Nigredo where the prima materia is found upon which life is revealed.

Materials & Techniques: Silk noil, Mx dyed and discharged, pieced and both hand and machine stitched after being screened with textile paint.. The border is thai silk with screened imagery.
