Artist Statement: This is the first of a series of quilts created in a collaboration with poet Margaret Chula. This matching set of quilts and poems continued for 9 years.

Materials & Techniques: Piecing, beading, micro quilting, silk ribbon work; yakata, other Japanese fabrics, and commericial fabrics.
