Artist Statement: In the California desert on the road to Indio, one drives through a wind farm with thousands of windmills. My work incorporates the colors of the desert and stitching that evokes the windmill shapes.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed cotton fabrics by the artist, machine pieced, machine quilted, hand stitched.
