Artist Statement: This work represents an impression of the colors of spring. The many and varied shades of green, from bright yellow-green to blue-green show the richness of nature as leaves start to bud and flowers blossom. This work consists of cotton dyed using shibori techniques. It was machine pieced and quilted.
