Artist Statement:

Deep inside the loamy earth
There's a tuber that grew that didn't give birth.
It's greenery grew but for reasons not known
It's flowers refused to adorn it's crown.

So to portray the earth and the seed that stayed
I chose to work with colors that greyed.
But hidden inside the confining blocks
Are bits of color exploding the rocks.
