Artist Statement: During the coronavirus pandemic that began in the spring of 2020, the color that I call "snot-green" was used for the emoji that depicted the virus. In this quilt, greens and acid yellows run rampant, including in the stitching used to depict the spread of the disease.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabrics: hand-dyed, machine-pieced and quilted by the artist.
