Artist Statement: As it progressed, my bias-tape-covered curves quilt took on the look of an underwater scene with undulating kelp floating in water into which sunlight filters in from above the surface of the water.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabrics: commercial prints, hand dyed fabrics and hand painted fabrics. Piecing, machine appliqued bias tape covering raw curved edges. Machine quilted.
