Artist Statement: This quilt is based on a photo I took at Lake Cushman in the fall of 2008.  In this quilt I imagined what the same scene would look like in the winter.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton batik, tulle, and hand-dyed fabric by the artist and Just Imagination. Raw edge and fused applique, machine quilted, covered with a layer of tulle.
