Artist Statement: Watching a crow acting as a sentinel, calling out warnings, reminds me of my responsibility to use my voice to help protect others from danger, loss or despair.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabric, paint, fusible web, thread. Wholecloth painted quilt, machine stitched.
