Artist Statement: I had begun with the pieces that had the feel of buildings , the squares and the straight lines; but I had been thinking of how many fewer green spaces there were in my little city so I added the green and also a hint of the blue sky we so rarely see..

Materials & Techniques: Cotton duck, fabric painting, stamping, machine piecing and quilting.

Dimensions: 42"W x 34"H
