Artist Statement: An art quilt where the viewer is invited to interact with the quilt by participating in its presentation. Does the knot represent the ritual of a commitment between individuals? Is it an unbroken loop of love? Does tying the knot represent a noose? What does the "curtain" of knots hide? Is it hiding the ritual that the knot represents? How can the viewer change the presentation of the quilt by moving the "curtain" of knots?

Materials & Techniques: Made of silk, chenille thread, crepe, button twist, and cotton.

Dimensions: 24" wide x 20" high
