Artist Statement: This design grew out of a series in which I combine freeform zigzags, circles, and a few freeform curves. In this case, I turned the circles into ellipses that are graduated in size, so they seem to be flying into the distance.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabric, cotton/bamboo batting, polyester & acrylic thread. Original digital design, digital printing, machine quilting.
