Artist Statement: Immigration is all about waiting – waiting your turn, waiting for a hearing, waiting with expectations, hopes and fears. Doors open, doors close, nothing is certain and it all just gives me the blues.

Materials & Techniques: Manipulated digital image, printed on cotton fabric, metallic and plain thread, glass beads. Pieced, appliqued, machine-quilted and hand beaded. Shadowbox framed and matted by the artist using acid-free materials.
