Artist Statement: Lives can unfold in many ways and while mine began traditionally in a small Connecticut farming town, the creative rhythms of my life led to many possibilities. My reflections on the many choices I have made and also grieving the choices no longer possible inspired me to create this quilt. I appreciated the randomness of the rhythmic tendrils as they danced spontaneously from my scrap bin.

Materials & Techniques: Traditional and creative paper piecing, free style machine quilting, with hand appliquéd and embroidered figures.
