Artist Statement: We are influenced by lunar rhythm as are many of the organisms on earth. These rhythms are driven by cues from moonlight and the tides, which are governed by the moon's phases. Moon Shadow is an original design using hand-dyed and printed fabric to represent the different phases of the moon.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and printed cotton was machine pieced and quilted. Hand stitching was used to create the full moons. Original design.
