Artist Statement: After making a batik with hearts I started cutting some of its pieces and made a little coat out of it. I only had to find the right person to wear it proudly, walking down the street to show everyone how much he was loved.

Materials & Techniques: Variegated cotton fabric, batik, hand-dyed fabric. Machine appliqué and machine quilted
