Artist Statement: Cleaning up the garden in spring, we often come across skeleton leaves, delicate yet still strong long after they fell to the ground in autumn. They are something to be treasured.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton and sheer fabrics, rayon threads, skeletonized aspen leaves. Machine pieced, free-motion quilted, real skeletonized aspen leaves appliquéd on surface.
