Artist Statement: Working outdoors to make my own fabric was a new experience. I bleached natural shapes onto fabric. Materials & Techniques: Cotton top and back. cotton, poly batting.
I bleached natural shapes by spraying bleach solution over leaves.
Fabric was wrapped onto poles and bleached.
Fabric was folded and stitched by machine then dipped in bleach solution.
