Artist Statement: The inspiration for this quilt was a microscopic view of citric acid crystals. Naturally I took a few liberties with the design and put in some additional flourishes.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabric, hand dyed and painted, machine pieced, appliqued, and quilted.
