Artist Statement: The name of this chrysanthemum inspired me to think of those glorious harvest moons we see in September and October. I see the harvest moon most often at the waterfront - the moonlight is so bright the fishermen are out and I see their hooks and lines in the dark and illuminated water.

The discharge for the 'moons' was inspired by pieces of Erica Carter's. I am grateful to acknowledge her inspiration also.
