Artist Statement: This quilt, made from four fabrics in my gradations collection for Benartex, is based on a series of circles and rectangles in which the colors are juxtaposed to create maximum impact. The quilting was done in organic patterns, which make the circles look like part of a microscopic organism.

Materials & Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted. Materials: fabric-100% cotton, batting: 50% cotton 50% bamboo
