Artist Statement: Once again the Western United States are in the midst of forest fires. Too often measurements of destruction are in hundreds of homes and miles of forest, rather than acres.   

Materials & Techniques: Hand dyed an commercial cottons, hand dyed silk organza, cotton cording.
