Artist Statement: I worked on the design of this quilt, unsuccessfully, until I realized the diagonal section needed to be dominant; in other words I Saw the Light.
This quilt traveled in the Color Improvisations exhibition in Europe and Britain and was featured in the exhibition catalog and in The Studio Quilt - State of the Art.

Materials & Techniques: Fabrics hand-dyed by the artist; machine pieced and quilted.
