Artist Statement: Living in the Pacific Northwest we are always surrounded by moving water. In this quilt, I have included images from my life spent on, in or near these waterways.

Materials & Techniques: The background fabric of this quilt, the "grout" is a cotton/silk blend. Commercial and purchased hand-dyed fabrics were used. Photos were transferred onto commercial fabric using an Ink Jet Printer. All fabric was fused onto background fabric, then machine quilted.
