Artist Statement: A lone shorebird on a moody December day on a California beach inspired me to make this quilt.

Materials and Techniques: Cotton fabric, textile paint, inkjet cotton fabric sheet, printer ink, assorted thread, fusible web. Painting, printing of digital photo onto fabric, fusing, machine stitching.
