Artist Statement: The chrysanthemum Chong Tian remains alive but has yet to blossom. And while Chong Tian loosely translates to mean 'soaring', until it blooms its aerial ballet is an unopened promise that will be imagined differently by each individual.

Perhaps it will appear as spinning petals lifted upon invisible currents, rising ever higher or as an aerial star burst in an evening sky.
