Artist Statement: Jantar Mantar, India is one of the world's oldest astronomical sites.  This piece recalls the study of astronomy in creating a cultural landscape and is part of my "Cosmic Gardens" series.

Materials & Techniques: various silks dyed with natural osage, madder, logwood, cochineal, weld, lac and indigo; black paintstick.  Piecing and quilting.
