Artist Statement: I am influenced by bright colors, especially the color of flowers. My techniques are varied and often modified to suit the subject matter at hand. Although I like the process of making quilt art, I like an appealing finished product more than a strong feeling for the process. My background is in the international business world, and I continue to try to incorporate it into my work. I love oriental art, especially Japanese. As I continue in the quilt art world, I try to be influenced more and more by Asian art.
