Artist Statement: Stepping Stones: It is important that the eye have a reason to linger as it travels across the quilt surface. The contrast of light and dark shapes creates stepping stones that invite the viewer to explore the entire surface.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton and silk fabrics. Machine pieced and quilted.
