Artist Statement: This is part of a new series of “pebbles” art quilts. I’ve been exploring movement and texture created with free hand quilting tiny circles of various threads on my hand painted silk. Listening to music or podcasts as I lay down hundreds upon hundreds of yards of thread makes for a happy day, feeding my joy in textile arts.
